Meri Brun found its rhythm during season 20 of Sister Wives and part of his new spark is due to his love interest Ron.

“Ron seems like he takes care of himself. He likes dogs. He likes to travel and he’s six feet tall. And he’s handsome, so there’s that,” Meri said during a November 2025 episode. Sister Wives after meeting Ron for the first time at a speed dating event. (She kept most details about him to herself, including his last name.)

Throughout season 20 of the TLC series, Meri spoke about her new man several times — and during the fourth part of the series. Sister-wives: 1 to 1 special airing in February 2025, she gave more clues as to whether Ron was in fact her boyfriend.

“Have you looked at him? He’s cute,” Meri exclaimed. Love Krishnanbut she refused to kiss him and tell him.

When asked when they were going on another date, Meri replied, “Ron and I are not dating. Ron and I are dating and enjoy each other’s company.”

Ron’s speed dating session aired during Season 20, Episode 2, which broadcast in November 2025. He was later featured during a December 2025 episode of the TLC series when he visited Meri Brown in her guest room for a fundraiser she was hosting for a friend.

“I have three kids. They’re all in their 20s. They’re very independent. I love my kids,” Ron shared with Meri Brown during their speed dating session. “I have a grandson, which is fun. I love dogs. I love traveling.”

After Ron came to Utah to support a fundraising event that Meri Brown helped coordinate, she couldn’t help but smile while discussing their bond. “I’m glad Ron came. Kody was married to Meri from 1990 to 2014 before divorcing to legally marry his fourth wife Robyn Brown and adopt her three children from a previous marriage. Kody and Meri remained spiritually married for almost 10 more years, announcing their separation in January 2023.

Despite their messy breakup, Kody hoped Meri and Ron would have a better chance at a future.
