We explored CES 2026. Here’s the cool, smart tech that blew us away

Razer is always good for a few interesting concepts at every CES, even if they do not necessarily work well with possible products. The first is Project Ava, a hologram avatar in a tube that works with AI software, essentially giving your chatbot a face (and body). The material is remarkably similar to an expedition product, Leprosy Love.

On the one hand, it’s really cool (if you can get past the mental cringe visual of clones in tanks), and the fact that it is holographic. On the other hand, I find things moving (or flickering) in my peripheral vision to be distracting. I would also prefer my AI to respond in bullets. However, as I have often been told, I am not typical.
