Venezuelan activist Javier Tarazona released after four years under US pressure

Venezuelan human rights activist Javier Tarazona has been released after more than four years in a Caracas prison, as part of a government amnesty granted to political detainees. His release follows pressure from the United States after the impeachment of Nicolas Maduro last month. Dozens of other political prisoners have been released thanks to this initiative, but hundreds remain behind bars.
