Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has made overhauling America’s food supply a crucial goal of his “Making America Healthy Again” (MAHA), which aims to combat chronic diseases and childhood illnesses. The secretary argued that the nation’s dietary practices have harmed Americans and led to skyrocketing health care costs.

More details will be announced Wednesday during White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s press briefing. Kennedy and other Cabinet officials are expected to join them.
