Thousands march in US cities in ‘national shutdown’ against immigration crackdown




Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Minneapolis and other US cities on Friday to show their anger at the Trump administration’s crackdown on immigration. This participation came in response to a call for a day of action, dubbed a “national shutdown,” following the killings of Alex Pretti and Renée Good by federal agents in Minneapolis.
