Swift is reportedly frustrated following the revelation of private text messages between her and longtime friend Blake Lively amid the ongoing legal battle involving director Justin Baldoni.

“Honestly, it’s been really hard on Taylor,” a source said. Us every week. “Having her texts broadcast made her feel exposed and somehow violated, like something private no longer belonged to her. That doesn’t sit well with her.”

The insider went further to share that Swift “wasn’t trying to get involved” because she was only trying to help her friend.

“She wasn’t trying to get involved or do anything bigger; she was just supporting Blake as a friend, in what she thought was a private moment,” the source noted. “Now it’s become everything she didn’t ask for.”

Lively filed a lawsuit in late 2024, alleging that Baldoni sexually harassed her while they worked together on the set of “It Ends With Us,” and also accused him of engaging in a campaign of retaliation against her.

He has since filed a countersuit against Lively that was thrown out by a judge, in which he claimed Lively tried to use her friendship with Swift to fight creative control of the film.

When Swift’s texts with the “Gossip Girl” actress became public, things became more complicated as she appeared to have used her influence in favor of her friend while using a derogatory term to describe the actor.

“Can you do me a huge favor. I need help with him,” Lively asked Swift in a text. “Can you tell him that you’re excited about the movie. That you’ve read the book, but what’s freaking you out is the [script] pages that I sent you. What a magnetic scene it is. Or whatever descriptions work for you [with]”.

The “Bad Blood” hitmaker then responded that she “would do anything” for Lively. In another text, the couple seemed in good spirits after Swift apparently pressured Baldoni at Lively’s New York apartment.

“You were incredibly heroic today,” Lively wrote. “I recapped every moment with Ryan. I kept remembering things: you making up shit about me and lentils. And you introducing yourself as my doll. That clown was falling for it all. But also, you were resisting it. You’re the greatest friend in the world. I won the lottery.”

In another court document, Swift sent Lively a screenshot of a People Magazine article titled “Justin Baldoni reveals he was sexually traumatized by ex-girlfriend while ‘hoping to save me for marriage’.”

Alongside the photo, she told Lively that she thought “this bitch knows something’s coming because he brought out his little violin.”

A second source who spoke to Us Weekly told the outlet that Swift was “obviously not happy” about her messages being made public.

“Even though she was texting Blake and going to the apartment, she was not involved in creating a master plan to eliminate anyone,” the second source added. “She supported her friend, and that’s it. Like any friend would.”

Lively’s lawyer Sigrid McCawley revealed how the “A Simple Favor” actress feels about her friend being “dragged” into her legal battle with Baldoni.

When asked if the actress was “upset,” McCawley said she had “done everything she could to protect her friends from being involved in this.”

“It is the Baldoni parties who provided this evidence in this case. It is not relevant. What is relevant is her claims that she was sexually harassed in her workplace and the witnesses are there to see it,” the legal expert said in a video obtained by TMZ.
