A group of protesters gathered outside a restaurant in Lynwood, Calif., on Wednesday evening after apparently confusing Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agents.
Fox 11 Los Angeles reported that two TSA agents were dining at a restaurant when someone mistook them for ICE agents.
A crowd then gathered outside, honking and whistling.
The media reported that the deputies of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were then called in to help control the crowd.

“I think there’s a place and a time for everything,” said restaurant customer Osbaldo Bretado. “You will understand that people get very emotional and usually make mistakes.”
“It happens when you go after the wrong people,” he added. “Same as ICE – they say they go after criminals but they go after everyone.”

Fox 11 reported that the TSA officers were ultimately escorted safely, and no arrests or injuries were reported.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told Fox News Digital it had no additional information to provide about the incident.
The TSA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
