According to US Weekly, an alleged email that Brittany Renner’s lawyer sent to PJ’s lawyer on November 14, 2025, shows that he planned to serve PJ on live television. In the post, the lawyer pointed out that the Mavericks were scheduled to play the Los Angeles Lakers on November 28, 2025. He wrote that he planned to purchase eight seats in one section and serve PJ directly during the game.
“There are currently 8 tickets in section 102, immediately behind the visitors’ bench where Mr. Washington will be seated. I intend to purchase all eight tickets (which cost an average of $2,317 per ticket) to ensure that there are no issues with my process server to be able to complete the service.”
Additionally, Renner’s attorney added that he hopes things don’t escalate to that level. But even with that, Brittany’s legal team still disputed PJ’s claims about California. They said he played several games in the state, which proves there are connections.
