Paris Hilton plans a kids’ play date with Lindsay Lohan

Socialist and entrepreneur Paris Hilton rekindles his friendship with Lindsay Lohanwith whom she had been feuding publicly for over 10 years.

The two went from friends to enemies in the mid-2000s and made their dislike for each other known by making public statements and throwing jabs at each other in interviews. Now that the two women are parents, it seems they have buried the hatchet and put the drama behind them.

Hilton was recently a guest on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live” with her mother, Kathie Hilton, and aunt, Kyle Richards. During one segment, Cohen read a fan-submitted question asking if the Hilton heiress had reconnected with Lohan since Lohan’s return to acting.

Hilton smiled and said yes, they had been in contact. “We’re planning to reunite the kids. I’m so happy for her. She’s glowing. I love her,” she added.

Richards also shared that Lohan is “sweet” and messages her all the time.

Tensions between the two women began in 2006, when rumors swirled that Lohan was romantically involved with Hilton’s ex-boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos. They were later spotted outside a nightclub, allegedly arguing, and the public assumed it was because of Niarchos.

Days after the incident, a video circulated online in which Hilton’s friend, Brandon Davis, made scathing remarks about Lohan while Hilton spoke with someone on the phone in the background. Although she denied the existence of a love triangle, Lohan criticized Hilton for saying she was “comfortable making videos,” referring to the socialite’s sex tape that was leaked in 2004, according to AND! News.

In the years since, Hilton and Lohan have become enemies, sometimes calling each other friends and sometimes throwing shade at each other.

During a 2019 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Hilton played along “Plead the Fifth“, where she was asked to say three nice things about Lohan. She replied, “She is beyond…lame and embarrassing.”

In 2022, during another appearance on “Watch What Happens Live”, Hilton revealed that she and Lohan had put their differences aside and no longer had any differences with each other.

“I just feel like we’re adults now. I’m married, she just got engaged. We’re not in high school. I think it was very immature and now everything’s fine,” she explained.

While on her honeymoon with husband Carter Reum, she heard the news of Lohan’s engagement to financier Bader Shammas and sent him a congratulatory message. According to Hilton, this simple message broke the ice. “No bad vibes,” she added.

Hilton and her childhood best friend, Nicole Richie, stopped talking for a while. The two starred in the reality series “The Simple Life” from 2003 to 2007, but in the show’s fourth season, they filmed separately.

In an episode of the podcast “Call her daddy.” in 2024, Hilton and Richie recalled the moment, with the latter saying “nothing really happened” to cause the breakup. Instead, Hilton explained that the media loved to pit people against each other “because it sold tabloids.”

They were so young at the time and admitted they weren’t the best at communication, thus believing the rumors to be true. Richie emphasized the value of communication, in which she said they are better now. “We didn’t have the communication skills that we have now to organize check-ins, which is so important,” she explained.
