North West doesn’t back down and adds even more wild piercings

Northwest‘s piercing collection is officially growing and the 12-year-old is making it clear she’s not slowing down anytime soon. Months after sparking online chatter about launching a finger piercing in September, Kim Kardashian And Kanye West‘s daughter showed off what appears to be two more finger piercings in a new social media post on January 13. In a photo shared to her Instagram Stories, North West showed off what looked like new studs added next to the piercing she already has on her middle finger.

For the reveal, North leaned into her bold style, pairing her new bling with a blue wig and an all-black look that included a Balenciaga tee, pleated skirt and her oversized Alex Moss New York diamond skull chain. She also showed off the new jewelry on TikTok, filming a video showcasing the studs alongside a metallic manicure.

After North got his finger pierced for the first time in 2025, the conversation reignited when a TikTok user, @mazzy_williams, posted a video with overlaid text reading: “North West getting his finger pierced breaks my heart, just me?” North and Kardashian responded via their joint account with a short, reassuring message: “It’s okay.”

North then doubled down, making it clear she wasn’t interested in apologizing for her accessory choices. In a TikTok posted on December 9, she wrote, “This is for everyone who is angry about a finger piercing,” while listening to audio that read, “Why are you crying? How old are you? Pull yourself together.”

North’s latest piercing flex also comes after Kardashian opened up about parenting challenges and learn in real time. On the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Kardashian admitted that balancing self-expression with age-appropriate boundaries hasn’t always been easy, especially with the world watching.

“It’s really hard and it’s really interesting because all the kids wear the same things,” Kardashian said. “But then my daughter tries to wear it, and I’m like, ‘OK, we’ll never wear that again.’ Unfortunately, we made this mistake in front of the whole world.

Kardashian specifically referenced times when North tested out new looks inspired by what her friends wear, including a corset that North wore on a summer trip to Rome that sparked criticism online. Kardashian acknowledged that ultimately, her daughter is just trying to experiment like other kids do.

“She’s usually a tomboy most of the time,” Kardashian explained. “She wanted to try something that her friends were wearing, and it’s just like, okay, wait, maybe you can’t wear that. So, as a mom, you’re learning at the same time.”
