Nile Choppa is speaking out after his mother went live on social media to defend him against allegations he is an absentee father. The last live follows a recent exchange with the mother of NLE and Marissa Da’Nae after Marissa claimed her son, Chozen, called his ex, rapper EKT40, “daddy.”

NLE Choppa’s mother defends him against allegations of his father’s absence
On Saturday, NLE Choppa’s mother, Angela Pottswent live applauding the mothers of NLE’s children following claims the rapper wasn’t taking care of his children. Potts denied the accusations and claimed that Marissa Da’Nae and Mariah allegedly prevented NLE from seeing his children. She specifically addressed Marissa, stating that she believed Marissa’s frustration stemmed from NLE’s refusal to marry her when he was 19.
During his roughly 30-minute live stream, Potts also referenced NBA rapper YoungBoy. Potts referenced a video showing Marissa asking their son to sing NBA YoungBoy songs and seemingly suggested that she and YoungBoy were involved. As previously reported, NLE Choppa and NBA YoungBoy traded diss tracks.
NLE Choppa co-signs his mother’s message
Although NLE Choppa has remained silent and has not responded to the accusations against him, he is now co-signing his mother’s statements. The rapper reposted footage from his livestream on his Instagram Story, adding the text: “I support this message 🤣🤣🤣.” Marissa Da’Nae then responded by taking to her X account, where she clapped back at Angeleta Potts’ claims.
