He also praised the actress, calling her a “phenomenal mom” and expressing gratitude that they share parenting responsibilities.
The “Bad Things” singer then explained the meaning of their daughter’s name, explaining that Saga is inspired by a Norwegian goddess and translates to “epic story.”
He said the name seemed fitting given the emotional journey that led to its birth. “We named it Saga because bringing her to this Earth through ups and downs, it was truly an epic story of love, pain and a lot of magic,” he explained.
The singer said Megan Fox was furious after her fans praised him as a ‘good father’ for simply holding their baby

He even recalled a moment on “Today With Jenna & Friends” where Fox corrected praise directed at her for simply holding the baby, insisting she deserved the credit.
“The other day someone said to me, ‘You’re such a good dad!’ just because I was holding the baby. And she was furious. Like, “No, no, no, no,” he said.
MGK added that any credit should go to Fox, joking that his own role is much simpler. “I’m just playing guitar, hoping and praying that the baby is happy. I want to deflect all my congratulations and transfer them to Megan. Because she really does all the work.”
