Speaking about why she felt this way in the scenes, the actress admitted that these old-fashioned masculine gestures were the ones women were used to swooning over.
“It almost made me weak in the knees,” she admitted. “It’s the little things that we loved as women in our 30s, and this film is aimed primarily at people in our demographic. These epic romances and period films aren’t often made by women.”
