Lisa Barlow responds after Ben Affleck says he doesn’t ‘remember’ her

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Lisa Barlow struggles to defend his reputation after claiming he had an altercation with ‘The Accountant’ star Ben Affleck.

During a previous episode of the hit Bravo reality series, Barlow sparked a firestorm with her co-stars after revealing she skipped a cast trip to rub shoulders with Affleck and other megawatt celebrities.

In a new interview, Affleck was asked about his reported interaction with Lisa Barlow, and his reaction sent a wave of secondhand embarrassment across the Bravoverse, prompting Barlow to step in with his own receipts.

While speaking with her co-star, Angie Katsanevas, Barlow bragged that she would skip the first trip with the Season 6 cast to spend the day with Affleck and Blake Lively.

“I don’t want to spend the night with [co-star Bronwyn Newport]. She’s a pathological liar. She can’t tell the truth to save her life. It’s disgusting,” Barlow said. “Plus, I have a work problem. It feels like it’s a big deal. I think what people forget is that I have a very busy life. Because I keep it a little private. And like, I’m not going to name names, but like, I’ll be with Ben and Blake [Lively]”.

Barlow, who has been at the center of the “RHOSLC” drama since Season 1 began in 2020, didn’t stop there. She added: “I’ll be with Ben Affleck and you’ll be with Bronwyn.”

Barlow’s reported encounter with Affleck has been a hot topic throughout the season and on social media.

So much so that a recent interviewer asked Affleck about the alleged altercation, and the actor seemed hesitant to jump in amid the latest “Real Housewives” controversy.

“I don’t want to get anyone in trouble,” he said. “I don’t know what this is: an event in Salt Lake City?

Affleck explained that he hasn’t been to Utah in nearly a decade, adding that Barlow “doesn’t look familiar to me.” He did, however, admit that it was possible he had an interaction with the TV personality that he doesn’t remember.

“I meet a lot of people, I say hello to a lot of people,” he said. “I don’t want to be the jerk who says, ‘I met you.’ You don’t remember everyone you meet. »

Affleck’s response to Barlow’s claim sent some “RHOSLC” fans into a spiral online, sparking a wave of reactions.

A third commenter shared: “I find it hilarious that Ben Affleck says he doesn’t know Lisa Barlow. He was trying not to embarrass her but he said he didn’t know her.”

Barlow responded to Affleck’s statement in a comment, writing, “SXSW. The Accountant 2, and it was a great movie and a great party.”

She then shared a TikTok clip of Affleck posing on the red carpet; however, she is notably absent from the frame.

Affleck’s reported connection to Salt Lake City reality stars extends beyond Barlow.
