Lily Allen has seemingly chosen sides in the ongoing drama surrounding Brooklyn Beckham and his former parents, David Beckham And Victoria Beckham.
Allen, 40, shared a painting of Brooklyn, 26, in a blue polka dot ensemble via his Instagram Stories on Monday, January 19. The photo reflected her West End Girl album cover, in which Allen donned the same outfit in the same painted art style. (Spanish painter Nieves Gonzalez is the man behind the original album cover.)
The singer herself is no stranger to his own dramaas she previously revealed, the album, released in October 2025, was “inspired by what happened in the relationship” with her ex-husband, David Harbor. (Allen and Harbour, 50, separated in early 2025.)
“There are things on the record that I experienced during my marriage, but that doesn’t mean it’s all gospel,” the singer said. British Vogue that same month.
Allen’s Instagram post came just hours after Brooklyn took to her Instagram Stories to addressing the Beckham family feud at length, detailing multiple allegations against his family.
“I have remained silent for years and have made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed,” Brooklyn wrote in a statement. “I don’t want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m defending myself for the first time in my life.”
Brooklyn accused David, 50, and Victoria, 51, of controlling “the narratives in the press” about their family for “his entire life”. The chef blasted “achieving social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships are part and parcel of the life I was born into.”
“Recently, I have seen with my own eyes how willing they are to deploy countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, in order to preserve their own facade,” Brooklyn continued. “But I believe the truth always comes out.”
Brooklyn specifically referenced the drama surrounding his parents and his wife, Nicolas Peltz Beckhamclaiming that David and Victoria had tried “incessantly” to “ruin” their relationship ahead of the couple’s wedding in April 2022. He referenced a show about Nicola’s wedding dress and alleged that his parents had tried to pressure him “into giving up the rights to [his] name.”
Additionally, Brooklyn claimed he was “shunned” at his father’s 50th birthday celebration in May 2025, saying he traveled to London to witness the landmark affair.
“When he finally agreed to see me, it was on the condition that Nicola wasn’t invited,” Brooklyn claimed. He claimed his family then went to Los Angeles and “refused” to see him. (David and Victoria also share sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 14.)
