As reported The explosionThe former couple, who shared a child before the marriage ended, gave further context on the origins of their ongoing struggles over money and property, which was a highlight of their split.
Meri insisted on part two of the “Sister Wives: 1-on-1 Special” on Sunday, Jan. 18, that it all started following the sale of their Las Vegas home, which they lived in from 2011 to 2018, alongside Christine, Janelle and Robyn Brown at the time.
Kody had claimed that Meri was reluctant to share the proceeds from the sale of the Las Vegas property and attempted to keep all the funds. On Meri’s side, there was no argument with Kody over this because they were legally married at the time of purchasing the property.
Meri noted that she was the primary resident of the property most of the time and it would have made sense for her to have the full amount of equity, but she never asked for the money.
She claimed she made all the payments for the house while her name remained on the deed, but that all profits from the Vegas house would have gone to Robyn’s Arizona house.
