Kendra Wilkinson knows the power of a moms group in her Southern California neighborhood.

After seeing the headlines about Ashley Tisdale French‘s controversial essay on leaving a group of toxic momsWilkinson decided to share some insight into his own experiences.
“I don’t get along with mom groups. I never fit in with mom groups,” she explained at SUR Restaurant & Lounge in West Hollywood, California. “I don’t know why. Whenever I get involved with a mom’s group, I always hear people saying that everyone starts talking shit about me, and I’m sitting here going, ‘What have I done? What?” This is something that drives me crazy.
In a personal essay for The cut Published on January 1, French, 40, remembers being excluded from several events with her circle of mom friends. As a result, she decided to send a message to the group saying that “this is too high school for me and I don’t want to participate anymore.”
“You deserve to experience motherhood with people who, in fact, you know, as you,” she wrote. “And if you have to wonder if they do, here’s the hard-earned lesson I hope you take to heart: This is not the right group for you.”

I just want to raise my kids and stay in peace. I don’t want to feel any negativity or drama with anyone. That’s who I am these days.”
Wilkinson first rose to fame as Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend on E! The girls next door. In recent years, the former Kendra on top The star stepped away from reality TV to focus more on building her career in real estate.
After documenting much of her life on the small screen, Wilkinson understands why so many fans still love getting updates on her two children.
“Every time I post my kids on Instagram, it’s like a time-lapse. All of a sudden people realize how old they are because time has passed,” she shared. “My two kids are so humble. They’re so amazing. They’re so smart. They’re so kind. I couldn’t be happier with my kids.”
As for Hank Jr.’s possible future in athletics, Wilkinson confirmed that his son continues to shine on the basketball court.
“My son kills at basketball and I can’t wait to see where time takes him,” she teased. “He plays basketball for love, but I hope to one day see him flourish in college at a D1 school.”
