Kelsea Ballerini prepares her fans for her Grammy appearance

It’s no secret that the musician doesn’t hold her own with her outfits, stepping out for any occasion. Her previous looks have stunned crowds, and this year might just be her best yet.

Kelsea Ballerini’s 2025 Grammys outfit was one for the books, which left fans talking, and it looks like she’s ready to outdo herself at her own game. The singer has received a handful of nominations over the years but has yet to win her first Grammy.

Ballerini shared a snapshot of what she’ll wear to the Grammys on Sunday, and it might be a nude dress. The singer teased fans with a photo of the sheer dress on social media, and even though the image was enlarged, fans could tell that it was most likely a super sheer dress.

The photo only captures the upper portion of the dress, showing the corset with visible boning and underwire in a color tone that blends with the skin. The dress is also not fully finished, as pins were shown to attach the fabrics together. On the waist was a belt with the words “Etro for Kelsea Ballerini” embroidered on it.

The singer did not share anything more about her look, arousing the impatience and wonder of fans. She tagged Etro and captioned the post, “See you Sunday [red heart emoji]”.

While everyone is waiting to see her in this outfit, Ballerini is eagerly awaiting the outcome of her nomination. This year, she was nominated for Best Contemporary Country Album for her album “Patterns.”

American magazine detailed Ballerini’s outfit for the 2025 Grammys. She wore a custom Tamara Ralph Couture mini dress. Her black dress featured all-over beading, a cutout neckline with conical cups, thick straps, and a fitted skirt sealed with a white satin cape that fell from her shoulders and flowed behind her.

The musician’s look was on point with her diamond rings, earrings and pointed heels. Her hair and makeup made her look fabulous. She wore her blonde locks in a stylish side part with curls.

The chic look matched her glamor perfectly: long lashes, nude lipstick, perfectly filled in eyebrows and smoky eyeshadow. Let’s assume that Ballerini does indeed wear a nude dress to this year’s Grammys; it wouldn’t be his first time. She previously wore a nude Michael Kors dress to the 2024 Met Gala.

With this look, the singer wore gold jewelry and her makeup perfectly complemented her ensemble with shimmering pink eyeshadow and glossy lips. Her hair was styled with pinned pink and coral flowers. She attended the event with Chase Stokes, who wore a typical black blazer and matching pants.

PEOPLE shared that the singer did justice to the ’90s supermodel look for the evening, and that her stylists, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, made sure she truly channeled vintage glamor with the plunging black mini dress, skin-baring conical cups, and a plunging neckline.

But through it all and the flashy smiles for the camera, Ballerini was just holding on. In a behind-the-scenes video shared to Zanna Roberts Rassi’s Instagram, the 32-year-old was heard saying she “couldn’t breathe” in the dress.

However, his look has always been one from the books. In 2024, she stunned everyone with a sexy, floral Vera Wang dress, and even though she missed the red carpet, her outfit still turned heads as she posed for photos indoors.

In 2023, she paid homage to her album “Subject to Change” wearing a yellow backless Prabal Gurung dress, showcasing her exceptional jewelry.

Ballerini was married to Morgan Evans from 2017 until 2022, when they called it quits. She released her song “Penthouse”, the lyrics of which detail her relationship, marriage and divorce from the Australian singer. While performing the acoustic version on stage in December last year in Sydney, a man started a disturbance.

As she sang the words “it stings to roll out the welcome mat, knowing you got half of it,” he shouted “Team Morgan,” and without hesitation, the artist clapped back saying, “F-ck off.” The crowd went wild with cheers, applause and laughter, then she stepped forward with the microphone in her hand to say, “The team, everyone is happy.”

The 32-year-old didn’t stop there, she addressed the subject again online, sharing the viral clip of the moment and sending a strong warning that she would not face any form of disrespect during her performances.

The explosion noted that even her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Chase Stokes, also defended her at that time, writing, “These comments are really weird. Grow up.”
