Kaitlyn Bristowe continues to fuel romance rumors with her classmates Single Nation alum Zac Clark after commemorating his birthday.
Clark, 42, took Instagram on Saturday, January 17, to share a series of photos from his celebration, including an image of him smiling while placing his hands around a birthday cake with a message reading “F*** fruit.”
“42. I still have never had a bite of fruit,” he captioned his post, while Bristowe, 40, wrote in the comments section: “Plain candy. Weird. Happy birthday.”
Bristowe’s comment comes two years after romance rumors began circulating between her and Clark when the two were spotted celebrating New Year’s Eve together at her Nashville home. The duo have since interacted on social media, with Bristowe cheering Clark on when he ran the 2024 New York City Marathon, commenting via Instagram: “You are a shining light.”
Bristowe and Clark have yet to publicly confirm or deny their romance. The former Bachelorette did, however, hint at their relationship. While appearing on “U Up?” » podcast in August 2024, Bristowe explained that she reached out to a woman after going on a date with her “Bachelor Nation” ex.
Bristowe explained that the anonymous woman responded by saying, “I always knew you were a bad person and you confirmed it. Your true colors are showing.” Bristowe hung up and said to himself, “Now I just want to send him a picture of me sucking his shit.”
After receiving backlash for her remarks, Bristowe later apologized for the way the comments “came out.” In his Facebook group “Off the Vine,” Bristowe wrote: “My sense of humor is not for everyone.
Although Bristowe didn’t name Clark in the interview, fans were quick to speculate that she was referring to him and his ex-fiancée. Tayshia Adams. (Clark was engaged to Adams from 2020 until their separation in 2021.)
A year after the interview, Bristowe exclusively told Us every week that she decided to keep your love life a secret.
“Privacy is so hot that I’m turned on by being private. There’s something really special and sacred about it,” Bristowe shared at the time. “Obviously, I’ve been in two very public relationships, and I’m a fan of oversharing and an open book, and it’s really hard not to share certain things in my life, but it feels so right. Relationships with the Bachelor franchise or people online, like, it starts to feel a little performative sometimes. And I feel like that’s where it was for me last time, and it didn’t feel good.”
Bristowe was previously engaged to Shawn Booth for three years before the duo split in 2018. She continued with Jason Tarticwith whom she separated in 2023 after four years together.
“So this time…I’m like, ‘Look, I just turned 40,'” she said. “I’m in the best place in my life in every aspect – personally, professionally, spiritually, in a good place, and protecting my peace can come with a little privacy.” And I’m in it.
