Jason Biggs is criticized online after revealing he showed his 11-year-old son Sid his famous “American pie” scene.
The actor explained that he did it because he wanted to “control the narrative” and “move forward” because his son was starting to hear about it and wanted to know what it was about.
This comes as Jason Biggs and his former costars may not return for the fifth installment of the cult classic, as reports claim negotiations have broken down.

Biggs recently appeared on SiriusXM’s “The Julia Cunningham Show” and revealed that he had to talk to his son about his infamous “American Pie” scene.
The 47-year-old actor explained that he did it because he wanted to “control the narrative” because his son was already hearing whispers from outside sources.
“They kept hearing about American Pie, pie and [asking]’Dad, what are you doing with the pie?’ and I had to have a conversation with my oldest,” Biggs said, according to The explosion. “I actually showed him the scene. Jenny and I talked about it, and we were like, ‘We want to get ahead of it.'”

“That’s my version of sex talk, right? It’s like, how much do you want them to hear from friends and other people at school, and how much do you want to control the narrative, and that was literally happening with American Pie,” he noted.

Fans Slam Actor for Showing Hot Scene to 11-Year-Old Girl

In the scene in question, Biggs’ character was surprised by his father (played by Eugene Levy) in an intimate moment with a pie.

Jason Biggs said the conversation was ’embarrassing’ for his son

The catalyst for the father-son moment was due to an experience he witnessed during a trip to New York with his children.
He explained that a random guy “walked past all of us and literally yelled at me, ‘Hey, it’s the asshole pie,’ and I immediately looked at the boys.” He was, however, delighted that his children did not hear him.
Alongside Sid, Biggs is also father to 8-year-old son Lazio, whom he shares with wife Jenny Mollen. Speaking about the conversation he had with his eldest son, he noted that it was quite awkward, but a father has to do what a father has to do.

“He was embarrassed to say it, very embarrassed, but I said, ‘Okay. Let me show you. Let me show you what happened,’ so I showed him the scene, and he laughed and laughed,” the “Orange Is The New Black” actor said.
“He was a little uncomfortable, that’s for sure,” Biggs admitted. “He said I was a good actor,” he added.
The actor said he was glad he had boys versus girls because of his infamous ‘American Pie’ scene

In 2017, when Sid was just two years old, Biggs opened up about what his conversation with his kids would be like about the infamous scene from “American Pie.”
“I imagine a scenario where it’s — I don’t know what grade, I hope he’s a little older — but one of his friends can come in and say, ‘Hey, I saw your dad’s p-nis on TV last night!'” Biggs joked. “This is a very real possibility for our lives.”
“[But] I’m happy to have boys against girls. I don’t know how it’s going to go, but I know that no matter how it goes, it will be easier to have sons than to have daughters,” he added. People Magazine.

Away from his family life, Biggs has also expressed interest in working on “American Pie 5,” amid reports that the film’s production may be facing money problems.
“It’s tricky,” he said in conversation with People. “I have heard various reasons for the delay, and the most realistic of them is simply that there are a lot of people to integrate.”
“Behind the scenes too. Especially behind the scenes,” Biggs added. “But look, it would be fun. I would love to do it. I know a lot of us would love to do it.”
