This season, contestants will have to try wild dishes, like fisheye pie, fermented herring and rotten egg pie.

“If I had to rate the ick factor from 1 to 10, it would be a whopping 10,” Ganio shares in the clip. “It’s incredibly sick.”

Although the challenges leave some participants more than a little sick, Ganio says it’s all part of the game.

Fox launched the 2026 new year by launching a reboot of the beloved reality show, now titled Fear Factor: House of Fear. Joe Rogan hosted the show when it first aired on NBC in June 2021.
