Bronwyn Newport joined “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” in 2024 for the show’s fifth season. Fans also got to know her husband, Todd Bradleysince he made several appearances not only in its first season but also in the most recent sixth installment. Sadly, in December 2025, it was revealed that she and Bradley were separating after 9 years of marriage. Since then, she has spoken out about the split and recently revealed that Mary Cosby he was the one who supported her the most.

Bronwyn Newport says Mary Cosby often texts her

Newport spoke to PEOPLE in January 2026 about her split from Bradley and how she handled the traumatic situation. When discussing who on the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” had supported her the most, she said it was Cosby. Newport said her Bravo co-star “texts every few days.”
According to Newport, “She made sure to call me on every holiday since Todd and I separated. Mary shared with me things she’s experienced in her life or in different relationships she’s had, and she tried to really encourage me to find what’s best for me.”

She didn’t stop there regarding her Cosby comment. She also said, “Mary loves Todd. Todd is probably closest to Mary. I don’t know [that] I would say Todd is close to all the women, but Todd probably loves Mary the most and always has. And Mary is an interesting person I can confide in. Mary made this very easy. Since this news came out, Mary has really been using kid gloves on me.”

She also gave an update on her living situation

During the interview with PEOPLE, Newport discussed her living arrangements with Bradley. She notably revealed that they continue to share their house in Utah because of their five dogs. The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star continued to open up about her marriage, saying, “Todd hates the show. He thinks I didn’t need to do it, or that I didn’t need to prove to other people who I was or who I am.”
Newport also claimed that filming the series “caused a strange dynamic” in her marriage to Bradley. She nevertheless admitted that “the cameras did not create our problems.” It’s also worth noting that the couple faced backlash from fans of the show who didn’t view their dynamic as healthy.

She confirmed the separation in 2025

A Newport representative confirmed PEOPLE on December 12, the RHOSLC star split from Bradley. They told the outlet: “This was a mutual decision made with care and respect for each other. They ask for privacy during this time.” This news came after Newport was open on the show about some of the issues they were facing in their marriage.
This was especially the case in the most recent sixth season. Newport said in a confessional during one of the episodes: “The real truth is that my relationship is just as difficult as everyone else’s in its own way and has had some very low levels that have been very difficult for me.”

She continued, “It’s a side of me that these ladies haven’t seen yet, but I want them to understand that I bleed the same way they all do. I cry about things, and that side of me is there if they’re open to it.”
The RHOSLC star made blunt comments about her marriage at the reunion
Part three of the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” reunion for season six aired on January 27. Excerpt from the episode shows what she said to the host Andy Cohen about his marriage. She said, “So Todd and I are broken up.” Cohen asked who decided, and she replied, “It’s my choice.” Asked what the final straw was, she said: “This year has been so difficult for me. I’ve seen myself in some of these conversations saying things that I didn’t think I meant.”
Newport then cited her previous example from season six, when she told Bradley that they could “be open” to the idea of seeing other people. She said it was something she “wanted to be ready for if I needed it.” Newport also revealed that Bradley didn’t want her to discuss her relationship with her friends or on the show.

According to her, “We were no longer working forward. We were no longer a team. I was just a PR for him.” It’s also important to note that during the reunion, filmed in December, Newport said Bradley lived in New York while she was in Utah.
There are already reports about season 7
Season six of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” just ended, and there are reports about its casting for season seven. An insider reported to Well done and cocktails that the cast will remain largely the same. This means that Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, Angie Katsanevas, Meredith Marques, Whitney RoseNewport and Cosby are expected to return.
However, Marks or Rose may be friends of the show instead of being a full-time cast member. Bravo has not confirmed casting, but based on past filming schedules, production on the seventh season of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” is expected to begin soon.
