The Bridgerton Chronicles will apparently show the death of a major character before the end of season 4 – but who should fans be worried about not getting there?

While Jean (Victor Alli) is the most reasonable conclusion based on that of Francesca (Hannah Dodd) history. Julia QuinnIt is When he was bad focuses on Francesca’s marriage to now-husband John before her shocking death. Francesca would then find love again with John’s cousin, Michael. The series, however, replaced Michael with Michaela (Masali Baduza), during the season 3 finale.
If Francesca leads next season, then John’s death it should happen before that. Following Marina’s death, Eloise makes contact with Phillip (Chris Fulton), which reignites their romance.
Other options include Queen Charlotte’s (Golda Rosheuvel) husband, King George (James Fleet), which she spoke about earlier this season. But historically, Charlotte’s death would approach in the coming years, which could be advanced.
After the conclusion of Bridgerton’s third season in June 2024, the showrunner Jess Brownell was asked about the show currently taking place shortly before Queen Charlotte’s death in 1818 – months before the birth of her granddaughter, aka the future Queen Victoria.

Brownell specifically highlighted the moment when the Queen and Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh) “worked together to make society more inclusive” as the point that created the alternate universe.
“That’s where we entered another timeline,” she explained. “It is possible that in this timeline, Queen Charlotte could live forever.”
