The new Bachelorette, Taylor Frankie Paulspeaks candidly about how she learned to overcome her mental health struggles.
“Hearing someone say, ‘I have mental health issues’ and I listen like I don’t know anything,” Paul, 31, wrote via Instagram on Friday, January 30, debunking speculation by sharing all the ways she prioritizes her well-being.
Paul revealed that she had tried equine therapy, the “safe and sound protocol”, art therapy, coaching, message therapy, trauma yoga, sound baths, prayer, psychological education, red light therapy, reading self-help books, listening to inspirational podcasts and “grounding herself”.
“Trust me, I know ball, but if I’ve learned anything, it’s that more often than not, people just want to be heard,” she captioned her post. “It’s also important to validate yourself in whatever you’re feeling, otherwise it just gets stronger and stronger.”
Paul continued: “Always grateful for the knowledge and tools these amazing people taught me, even if I don’t always use them. »
The reality TV personality further explained that she doesn’t follow all therapies “on a regular basis.”
“I tried and learned,” she added. “I do what I can when I can.”
Paul rose to fame in 2022 as a popular “MomTok” influencer, landing a spot on Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives after confessing his involvement in a “soft-swinging” scandal. After three seasons of Mormon wives, Paul has been named the next Bachelorette.
“What I’m most looking forward to is meeting a handful of people who are outside of my bubble,” Paul told exclusively Us every week in September 2025. “I’m just excited to discover different perspectives and new sides of myself too.”
Taylor, who shares two children with her ex-husband Tate Paul and her son Ever with her ex Dakota Mortensenfurther said We that getting engaged was her “goal” this season.
“As my mother likes to say, I fall in love quickly, and that’s also the reason I did,” she said. “I always consider myself a dater because I fall in love with people and I’ve done that in the past. Obviously, I got married young and the first man I dated was my second baby daddy – so that was really quick, and this time it’s going to be really cool because… I’m about to date my, you know, 20 years. [or] 30 guys, and I’ve never done this before. I’m going to take my time, I’m going to kind of get to know people. Maybe I learned things I didn’t like or pretended I didn’t even know. So I think this is going to be really good for the long term effect.
Taylor wrapped his season The bachelorette at the end of last month.
