Apple just reported its best quarter for iPhone sales

Apple today shared its latest quarterly financial results and the news This is once again very, very good for the Cupertino company. The quarter ending December 27, 2025 marked “the best quarter on record” for iPhones, which generated record revenue of nearly $85.27 billion for the company. Apple no longer discloses how many devices it sells, but even with the prices of many of its latest generation smartphones topping $1,000 apiece, that must still be a huge amount of iPhones.

“The demand for the iPhone was just astounding,” CEO Tim Cook said on the conference call to discuss the results. “This is the most successful iPhone lineup we’ve ever had and by far the most popular.”

That wasn’t the only important number in the earnings report. Services revenue also recorded its biggest quarter to date, growing 14% from the same period last year to just over $30 billion. It’s also Apple’s biggest quarter yet in terms of total revenue, coming in at nearly $143.76 billion for the already fabulously wealthy company.
