Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) player Suyash Sharma was recently spotted playing in a local cricket tournament in Malda, West Bengal. The 22-year-old played in the quarter-finals of the 25th SRMB Cup knockout cricket tournament.
Playing for Saat Sokal, Malda, Suyash recorded bowling figures of 6-0-43-2 against Agragami Sangha, Siliguri, in the 30 over match. He also hit a six with the bat, remaining unbeaten on six off three balls.
Saat Sokal registered a 92-point victory in the clash to advance to the semi-final. Many fans gathered to meet Suyash after the match, and a video showed him signing a bat for a fan.

Notably, Suyash had an association with West Bengal. He made his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2023 and played two seasons for the franchise.
The youngster was part of KKR’s title-winning team in 2024. He was signed by RCB for ₹2.60 crore during the IPL 2025 mega auction.
The Bengaluru-based team clinched their maiden IPL title, defeating Punjab Kings (PBKS) by six runs in the IPL 2025 final. Suyash took eight wickets in 14 innings at an economy rate of 8.84 in the edition.
He was retained by RCB ahead of the IPL 2026 auction. In total, he has 18 wickets to his name in 27 IPL matches at an economy rate of 8.75.

Suyash Sharma played for Delhi in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025. He was his team’s best player with the ball in the domestic T20 tournament, claiming 11 scalps in seven outings.
He played with an impressive 7.11 economy rate. Delhi failed to qualify for the Super League. They finished third in the Elite D group points table, winning four of their seven matches.
