The traitors star of season 4 Caroline Stanbury has been unfailingly candid about his decision to undergo a major facelift to his aircraft.
THE The Real Housewives of Dubai alum became public with her choice to undergo an extensive cosmetic procedure in November 2023, creating a vlog about his recovery. In the candid footage, Stanbury’s husband, Sergio Carrallovisibly torn by how much the old Ladies of London the star struggled to recover.
“It was probably one of the hardest times of my life,” Carrallo wrote via Instagram at the time. “To see the person you love with all your heart suffer and suffer the way they were…it was very hard.”
Caroline was initially unable to speak in the vlog due to her extensive facial coverings. she proudly showed herself her healing and refreshed look on Thanksgiving Day.

Caroline Stanbury explained why she had a facelift
THE Real Housewives star shared with People in August 2024, she wanted a facelift because she felt that other cosmetic treatments were not effective. For example, Caroline Stanbury began receiving fillers and Botox treatments at the age of 26.
“I had a crazy eyebrow,” she remarked. “My lips were getting a little weird. My face was just [got] Rounder and rounder and bigger and bigger, because I kept pumping filler into my jaw.
Although she started her journey by having her filler dissolved, Stanbury eventually “thought that the cost of doing this every year, you know, was a facelift.”
“I have a very young husband, not that he wanted me to, but these are things that women go through,” she added. “I don’t want women to see me and think that at 48 I look like this and they look like crap. It’s an unnatural thing.”

Once Caroline Stanbury decided to have a makeover, she felt it was important for her husband Sergio Carrallo to film her recovery.
“I have a podcast called ‘Uncut and Uncensored.’ So, if I then censor my life, what’s the point? Stanbury said People. “Plus, I’m on a reality TV show. It’s my reality.”
Another benefit of documenting her experience was that it gave other women her age a better idea of what to expect with their own cosmetic procedures.
“We give you books [with pictures of] 80 year old women who suddenly look 70 or 60. And it’s not me. I couldn’t relate to them,” she said. “I wanted to find someone else my age. Who did, but she didn’t look terrible. She just wanted to look more beautiful, didn’t she?

In November 2023, Sergio Carrallo filmed his wife’s post-operative recovery after Dr. Steve S. Kim performed a deep facelift on Caroline Stanbury.

He tried to keep Stanbury’s spirits up by surprising her with a “Get Well Soon” balloon and a Hailey Bieber– smoothie Erewhon inspired. Stanbury couldn’t speak at the time, but she waved to the camera.
“As her husband, I will always support her and [be] here for her and even though I was against it, she really wanted to do it,” he told viewers. “So, I was there for her, supporting her and helping her every day. I’m very proud of you and just seeing how happy you are with the result makes me very happy.
Carrallo walked arm in arm with Stanbury to their car after his release, although he later acknowledged that his recovery would take time.

“Now my friends ask me, ‘When is too young? When is the right time?'” she reported. “Because I was actually told I had to wait until I was 50. And I’m so glad now I didn’t.”
She was joined on the podcast by plastic surgeon Dr. Garo Kassabian to discuss the different cosmetic options people can explore.
“The timing of the facelift depends on person to person,” emphasized Dr. Kassabian. “It depends on the visible signs. We have options, surgical and non-surgical. Try non-surgical products, i.e. botox, fillers, non-aggressive radiofrequencies, etc.”
