O’Leary Ventures President Kevin O’Leary joins ‘The Claman Countdown’ to weigh in on President Donald Trump’s tariff threat against Canada over a potential deal with China and stars in ‘Marty Supreme.’
‘Shark Tank’ star Kevin O’Leary issued a stark warning to Canada about his potential trade agreement with Chinaarguing that the communist nation “screwed” each of its trading partners during an interview Monday on “The Claman Countdown.”
“Canada will be no exception,” he said. “China is not your friend.”
O’Leary’s comments come as president Donald Trump has threatened to impose a 100% customs duties on goods imported from Canada due to its possible new trade agreement with China.
Canadian Prime Minister Marc Carney said on Sunday that his country had no plans to enter into a free trade agreement with China and that the recent agreement reduced tariffs on some sectors affected by tariffs.
Trump wrote on social media that Carney is sadly mistaken if he believes Canada could be used as a gateway for Chinese goods to the United States.

In another message, the president warned that China would “eat Canada alive.”
O’Leary echoed Trump’s warnings, saying the communist nation does not have good intentions in a potential trade deal with America’s northern neighbor.
“China is the economic, military and AI enemy of Canada and the United States,” he told FOX Business.

“You can do all the politics you want, but the enemy is China,” he added.
Trump’s threat of 100% tariffs would have significant consequences, as Trade between Canada and the United States is deeply interconnected, noted FOX Business hosts Liz Claman and O’Leary.
Canada is the primary export destination for 36 U.S. states.

“Carney has something that Trump needs, and by the way, Trump has something that Carney needs,” O’Leary explained. “70% of all Canadian production goes to 26 states. the largest trading partners, Canada, and for these states, Canada is their largest trading partner. »
“We’re in love that way financially,” he added.
The Canadian businessman also highlighted Trump’s proposed “Golden Dome” missile defense project plan as a key indicator of the administration’s priorities with Canada.

“[Greenland] this will be the missile on the west side. The east side will, of course, be Alaska. The hole in the middle is Canada,” O’Leary noted.
“[Trump] we have to make a deal to get that dome,” he said.

O’Leary predicted that Trump and Carney will eventually reach an agreement.
“They will soon be kissing cousins,” he said.
