Hello friends! How are you doing? I hope you are enjoying the day and had a great weekend.
For today’s article, I wanted to re-share this favorite treatment!! I’m always interested in trying new skincare brands, and when I heard about them at the Conference on biohacking, I was intrigued.
A skin is a brand that is gaining attention for its scientific approach to skin care, especially when it comes to anti-aging. So today I wanted to discuss what OneSkin is, highlight some of their best products, discuss costs, and weigh the pros and cons.
OneSkin Review and If It’s Worth the Price
What is OneSkin?
A skin is a biotechnology company focused on developing skin care solutions that target the root causes of skin aging at the molecular level. The brand’s mission is to prolong the health and longevity of the skin by reducing the biological age of the skin.. Founded by a team of scientists with expertise in stem cell research, OneSkin combines cutting-edge research with high-quality ingredients to create products that promote healthier, younger-looking skin.
I was able to hear founder Carolina Oilveira speak during the Biohacking Conferenceand she was amazing! She talked about healthy skin habits and how OneSkin technology works. They use what they call OS-01, a new peptide that targets senescent cells. Dr. Cabral refers to these types of cells as “zombie cells” because they cause oxidation, which in turn leads to inflammation and accelerates again. If you’re curious about peptides, here’s a nice topical version.
Featured products
OneSkin offers a range of products designed to treat various aspects of skin aging. When I first heard about it, I couldn’t wait to try the body products, like the SPF moisturizer and body lotion.
Here are some of my favorite products:
1. Face OS-01
The flagship product, Face OS-01, is a topical supplement designed to improve the health and appearance of the skin. It contains the exclusive OS-01 peptide that targets senescent cells, which are cells that contribute to aging and inflammation. The formula is also packed with antioxidants and hydrating ingredients to support overall skin health.
2. OS-01 Body
Similar to OS-01 face, This product is formulated for the body. It aims to improve skin health by targeting aging at the cellular level, thereby promoting firmer, more elastic skin. It is ideal for areas prone to aging such as the neck, décolleté and hands.
3. OS-01 Eye Cream
THE OS-01 Eye Cream is specially designed to treat the delicate skin around the eyes. It aims to reduce the appearance of fine lines, dark circles and bags, providing a more youthful and rested appearance.
3. OS-01 Lip Mask
Maybe my Favorite lip product of all time. It’s super thick and hydrating, which is the best during the winter months!
Here is a breakdown of the costs:
These are definitely premium products, and the prices reflect the advanced research and high-quality ingredients used in the formulations.
Additionally, OneSkin offers subscription options, which can save customers around 10% on their purchases. My discount code FITNESSISTA15 will get you 15% off, which is an even better deal!
Benefits
Science-based formulas: OneSkin products are developed based on rigorous scientific research, focused on the root causes of skin aging.
Targeted ingredients: The use of exclusive peptides and other powerful ingredients helps to effectively combat skin aging.
Positive reviews: Many users report noticeable improvements in skin texture, firmness, and overall appearance.
Cruelty-free: OneSkin is committed to ethical practices, ensuring that its products are not tested on animals.
Disadvantages
Price level: The premium rate may not be accessible to everyone.
Limited product range: Although effective, the current product line is relatively small compared to other skin care brands.
Results may vary: As with any skincare product, individual results may vary and some users may not experience the same benefits.
My thoughts:
I purchased a few products while we were at the Biohacking conference, including the eye cream, body lotion, and SPF tinted moisturizer for the face. Initially, I noticed that the products had a finer texture. They are not greasy at all and are instantly absorbed into the skin. I love this because my skin already tends to be oily, but I also love thick, luxurious, super hydrating products. It’s like my skin is instantly drinking up the product, meaning it’s quickly absorbed.
The bottles are a bit more expensive, but I think it’s worth it, especially if it improves skin texture. I initially spent around $260 on all three products and they lasted 3 months.
I think the tinted SPF is 100,000% worth it – this is the best Beautycounter dewy skin replacement I’ve tried and I love this one even more!
(I took a photo after just using this tinted SPF. No filter, no other makeup.)
If you try a product, start with this one. It’s $56 (you get 15% off with my code FITNESSISTA15), and I love the shade, the texture, the light coverage, and also the fact that it’s unscented.
I have only been using these products for over a year now and I have noticed a difference in the texture of my skin.
Right now my routine looks like this:
Day:
Body: OneSkin Body
Night:
Fresh cleaner (I have a sample of the OneSkin but haven’t tried it yet)
OneSkin Eye Cream (it’s gentle on my eyes and fragrance-free) or this eye cream– I like to change it
F59 serum aka no-tox in bottle
Body: This body cream
Weekly: honey enzyme maskand the Eminence Turmeric Mask
Overall, I think OneSkin is an amazing product and offers science-based products aimed at reducing the biological age of the skin. I think it’s definitely worth checking out or trying a few samples to see if it works for you! Travel kits are at a lower price and this way you can try them and see if you like them.
So tell me, friends: what does your skincare routine look like right now? Do you rotate between different brands or do you have a few tried and true favorites?
xoxo
Gina
