Tuesday, Mena took to Instagram to announce that she had finally concluded a legal battle with Safaree over child-related expenses. Posing alongside her attorney, Lisa Weber, Mena explained that she has for years handled the medical care, education, child care and living expenses of her two youngest children. “For 2 1/2 years – I have endured malicious filings, unnecessary legal attacks, and intentional financial pressures, all while being the sole, constant parent to my two youngest children.“, she wrote.
Erica calls Safaree and demands accountability
Furthermore, Mena emphasized that this victory was not about revenge but about responsibility. “After years of intentional hardship and financial burden placed on me, I finally came to terms with the expenses I bore alone. … medical, childcare, education“, she added. She also called Safaree alleged attempts to reduce child support, saying: “Even though yesterday was a victory, the reality remains: an attempt is still underway to significantly reduce child support… It’s easy to underestimate the cost of children you’re not actively raising, especially when you’re always publicly displaying luxury. But children don’t live by appearances. They live on stability, care and responsibility.“
Despite their past drama, including sharing Safaree surveillance images in 2024 would have showing Mena attacking him in front of their children – the reality star stressed that children need two parents involved, even if one is absent. “While being a full-time parent and replacing where effort, presence and responsibility are by choice systematically absent“, wrote Mena, “children have two parents.
