The singer’s ex speaks out about their relationship

According to a previous report from The explosionNe-Yo’s ex-fiancée Monyetta Shaw has opened up about some of the struggles the couple reportedly faced in their relationship.
Speaking to a podcaster, Shaw claimed she was once offered a full-time spot on Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” However, she claimed that she had to turn down the offer because Ne-Yo would have been concerned about how it might affect his career.
“He said to me, ‘No, you know, my management said it was going to ruin my career,'” the reality star explained. “And I chose family because that’s what I do, you know, I think about family first and foremost.”
Shaw later spoke candidly about her past relationship with Ne-Yo, which reportedly involved bringing strangers into their rooms.
“Well, you know, he just… he wasn’t ready, right. So yeah, we cheated together, if that makes sense. And then it just wasn’t enough, and I was like, ‘Well, no. I didn’t sign up to do that every day,'” she confessed. “We’ve done things together, so it’s not cheating if you’re involved.”
Shaw admitted, however, that after a while, Ne-Yo allegedly started wanting other women besides her, which left her unsettled.
“I’m just very versatile, and that’s where I was at that point, but it became a problem when you want it, you know, a lot. Like, maybe I’ll give it to you maybe twice a year…or three times,” she said. “I’m like, ‘Oh, if you want that, you don’t want me. You know, it made it feel like I’m not enough.’
