Finesse2Tymes Is the internet asking questions after he left on Instagram accusing Moneybagg Yo for allegedly calling the cops on him. His messages came after him and his girlfriend Shuga were reportedly arrested in Dallas, Texas on Thursday, January 15.

Finesse2Tymes sparks questions about Moneybagg Yo’s alleged role in his arrest
Okay, so BOOM! Early Thursday, Complex reported that Finesse2Tymes was arrested on several drug-related charges in Texas. The 33-year-old rapper was reportedly charged with possession of marijuana, an item prohibited in a correctional facility, and possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2. Police records also show that his girlfriend Shugga, real name Halle Buckingham, was also arrested. However, his reservation was dated January 14. She also faced drug and tampering with physical evidence charges.
Finesse has since been released from jail, but Shugga is reportedly still being held on $526,000 bail. Hours after his release, Finesse hopped on Instagram to talk about his arrest and call out Moneybagg Yo. At the moment, it’s unclear why he dragged Bagg into things, but he basically blamed him for causing him to end up in handcuffs. “Bagg put the police on me” Finesse wrote. From there, he dropped another post, calling people haters and saying they just wanted to see him behind bars. “You want me to stay inside so badly. I don’t wear a nun. […] yaw, these are real haters. Finesse kept dropping more messages on his IG story, claiming he had dirt on Moneybagg and telling his followers that he really misses Shugga. “I wasn’t going to lie, I’m sick without you Shug. Damn, no one knows like her.”

As of now, Moneybagg Yo has not responded to Finesse’s claims. But Finesse2Tymes and his girlfriend Shugga are no strangers to the law. They were both previously arrested in September 2025 for alleged drug possession. According to Complex, the couple ended up posting bail shortly after. However, a month later, Finesse was stopped again on similar accusations.

After The Shade Room reposted screenshots of Finesse’s messages, the comments section exploded. A group of people kept asking why he kept dragging Bagg into his situations, while others told him to focus on getting Shugga out.
